|SIGNY OF DAGNA|
since there is no end and no beginning
|Known to Public|
That she is a Grey Warden; she is a dwarf and (slightly less well known but no guarded secret) a mage, even though that's not supposed to be possible. It's rumored (or feared), after all, that someone in Orzammar knows how to turn dwarves into mages and is harboring apostates there. Perhaps she's one of them, or was. Anyone who knows enough about dwarven culture would recognize the brand on her face; she was marked as casteless before leaving Orzammar. Then again, anyone who knows much of anything about dwarven culture would know that, regardless of brand, being on the surface rendered her casteless anyway.
Known to Traveling Companions
She's a nervous little thing, but at least she isn't cowering for fear of open sky anymore. Mostly. She definitely is a mage, though; those rumors were right. She's open with the fact that Paragon Dagna made her a mage (and that Paragon Dagna is the best ever), but not the circumstances surrounding her exile or what, precisely, the mage-making process is (although the phrases "very painful", "vomiting for a week" and "more lyrium than is considered remotely healthy" have come up more than once). She used to be a smith in Orzammar. She's a night owl.

The reasons for her exile, at least in broad scope––political turmoil caused by the first dwarven abomination, which led to the overturn of the Paragon's House. That she has nightmares because of being a Warden–-that, in fact, dreaming at all greatly disturbs her. The precise number of castes she's been part of.
Known to Self
Signy keeps a close lid on things she considers "trade secrets"––smithing information that Orzammar doesn't want getting out, yes, but also almost everything she knows about Dagna's process, and Grey Warden secrets. In fact, most Warden things. Personal things are far more open than these matters.
